PRESS & MEDIA
Zack Arnold is an award-winning Hollywood editor & producer (notable credits include Cobra Kai, Empire, Burn Notice, and Glee), a documentary director (GO FAR: The Christopher Rush Story), a career coach, a two-time American Ninja Warrior, and the creator of the Optimize Yourself program & podcast.
Zack strongly believes that it’s possible for all creative professionals to love what they do for a living...but not at the expense of their health, their relationships, or their sanity. (Creative burnout isn’t inevitable.) That’s why via his Optimize Yourself program he provides them with the strategies, the resources, the mindsets, and a supportive community to help them confidently discover their own unique clear path towards the more balanced, more productive, and more fulfilling life they deserve.
In a nutshell, Zack Arnold is Tim Ferriss meets Ted Lasso…minus the mustache.
In his "free time," Zack races in Tough Mudder and Spartan Race competitions, and for the past four and a half years he has been training for the popular television show American Ninja Warrior and competed twice (but his runs have yet to air).
Zack has spoken across the country at numerous events and conventions about optimizing creativity and work-life balance as well as the craft of editing. His work has been featured in publications such as National Public Radio, Forbes, The Huffington Post, Variety, The Telegraph, and I Will Teach You to Be Rich, and he has been a guest on such podcasts as Chris Guillabeau’s Side Hustle School (twice), The Leverage Podcast, Filmmaker Freedom, Hack the Entrepreneur, The Productivity Show, Indie Film Hustle,The Rough Cut, Art of the Cut, The Drop, and many more.
